City Council Votes Tonight to Renew IDCO...
The IDCO was enacted, so that Staff can focus time and resources, working with the community and the consultant architect (recently hired) to develop improved Residential Design Standards. This has been a work in progress for several years by many residents throughout the City!
The IDCO addresses large projects which push the envelope, overbuilt structures which maximize the lot coverage, and projects which take advantage of loopholes in order to bulk up the mass/volume of the structure. According to State law, an IDCO is valid for 45 days and will expire, unless extended by Council, it is on agenda as Public Hearing.
Please review the Staff Report, and plan to attend the City Council meeting if you can,
If you are unable to attend, Please send email to: CityCouncil@burbankca.gov
