Jasy is a 20-year-old singer, songwriter and composer based in Mississauga. She began her music career at 7 years old by playing piano at Walter’s Music School and discovered her passion for singing at 12 years old. Jasy has released multiple unique songs, such as “CRIMINAL”, which was sung in French and English, and featured in songs with established artists from Belgium. In 2022, Jasy competed in MAC's Sauga Teen’s Got Talent and won the competition in first place. The same year, Jasy was nominated for the Emerging Artist Award by the Mississauga Music Awards. After the summer, Jasy released her third debut single called “BELLADONNA”. Today, Jasy continues to emerge as an artist, by writing music, performing at concert events and being featured in interviews. Her aspiration as a singer is to inspire those who listen to her songs and encourage people to display their creativity in their own unique way.

  • FORMS, FACES & SPACES, figuratively speaking! Exhibition | May 3-28, Opening reception May 6

    Head for the hills and "discover artworks that resonate on an emotional or intellectual level" at the 2nd annual FORMS, FACES & SPACES, figuratively speaking! exhibition organized by Studio By Design's Connie Munson as part of the Scotiabank CONTACT Festival. This show features photography and fine art by 39 artists between two galleries (Alton Mill Arts Centre and Georgetown Cultural Centre). Activities also include weekly prize draws, workshops and performances. On display from May 3-28. But Ramadan is so much more than not eating and drinking. presented by @studentasim is looking for memorable stories you might have of Ramadan to foster a greater understanding. is a space that widens the narrative of Muslim communities through digital storytelling. They have 300 stories already submitted by the public in a collective pursuit to create better understanding, and counter Islamophobia. Big or small, share your story! Your stories will help decipher Ramadan and foster new understanding. You might even change the most famous question about it!
