Curtis Freeman is a respected bassist, musician, educator and recipient of the 2022 MARTY Award in the Music Instrumental - Established category. Curtis has performed in over forty countries worldwide, working with musicians in all genres including winners of MARTY, Juno, and Grammy awards. Curtis recently released his first solo album "Postcards" in April 2022. Curtis co-leads The Freeman Brothers band alongside twin brother, Carson Freeman. Click here to learn more about him.

  • FORMS, FACES & SPACES, figuratively speaking! Exhibition | May 3-28, Opening reception May 6

    Head for the hills and "discover artworks that resonate on an emotional or intellectual level" at the 2nd annual FORMS, FACES & SPACES, figuratively speaking! exhibition organized by Studio By Design's Connie Munson as part of the Scotiabank CONTACT Festival. This show features photography and fine art by 39 artists between two galleries (Alton Mill Arts Centre and Halton Hills Cultural Centre). Activities also include weekly prize draws, workshops and performances. On display from May 3-28.     Join Mississauga Chamber Singers for their performance of Handel’s ‘Entrance of the Queen of Sheba’ and ‘Chandos Anthem #9’ and Bach’s seldom performed ‘Missa in g minor’. Mississauga Chamber Singers provide the opportunity for listeners to experience the differences between two iconic composers of classical music – JS Bach and GF Handel.
