The winner will receive $6000 from Canada Council for the Arts, a two-week writing residency at Artscape Gibraltar Point, and have their work published on CBC Books. Missisauga-based pet photographer, Karen Weiler of Posh Pets® Photography is raising funds for local animal rescue charity by photographing dogs and any willing adventure cats for the international Tails of the World book project. Last year she raised $1,100 for a local rescue and together with an international group of photographers, over $25,000 globally. The deadline to submit is April 15.
