New accreditations reward hard work

CHAS, Concrete Repair Association and Builders Profile memberships add further prestige to the H2OX brand.

We've racked up three further memberships to add to our already weighty list of accreditations.

CHAS (The Construction Health and Safety Scheme) is a nationally recognised scheme that conducts a lengthy inspection into the way in which companies within the construction industry conduct their health and safety procedures.

Accreditation with the scheme recognises that H2OX are at the top of the tree when it comes to handling health and safety on site.

Membership with the CRA (Concrete Repairs Association) reflects H2OX's ability to carry out industry approved concrete repairs work, whilst our integration into the Builders Profile online pre-qualification exchange will help streamline our pre-qualification process.

Oxford Hydrotechnics land Kier MG Framework Contract

Oxford Hydrotechnics announce inclusion on the Kier May Gurney, Canal and River Trust Grouting Framework.

H2OX are proud to announce that they have been selected to assist with Kier May Gurney’s task of maintaining waterways throughout England and Wales on behalf of the Canal and River Trust.

The Trust is tasked with monitoring the condition of over 1,500 locks in order to ensure that our navigable waterways remain in operation.

Many of our waterways have been in operation for up to 250 years and have developed defects that include leaks and damaged concrete. In time, these issues often result in water loss, potential third party damage and can ultimately cause structural instability.

The intention of the contract is to deal with the worst cases of leakage, using structural grouting and resin injection techniques to address and solve any issues of water ingress within the Trust’s structures.

Additional solutions within the framework include the application of cementitious options, PFA, Bentonite and polyurethane, in conjunction with targeted repointing works.

New starters join the H2OX team

We've had a busy few months at Oxford Hydrotechnics, with continued growth resulting in a number of new faces throughout the team.

Rob Tarrant (Engineer), Caroline Henn (Office Manager) and Sam Bromwich (Office Administrator), have joined us in the office at H2OX HQ and will play a vital role in creating a direct link between our teams on site and the logistics behind the scenes.

Steve Mason, Tony Walshaw, Sylwester Gieryng and Milosz Sielanczyk have all joined as Site Operatives, whilst Andy Buck, has joined us in the stores.

We offer them Oxford Hydrotechnic's warmest welcome and wish them the best of luck in their new roles.
