Happy New Year and welcome to the latest edition of Circle's newsletter.

A massive thank you to our commissioners, supporters and friends. Your continued support makes our work possible, enabling us to transform the lives of families across Scotland. We wish you a happy and prosperous 2016.

Circle participates again in #GivingTuesday

Circle participated in #GivingTuesday again last year on December 1st. Following the shopping frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Circle encouraged people to donate to our Christmas appeal on #GivingTuesday.
David Tennant took an #UNselfie in support of our Christmas appeal which was hugely popular!
The money raised allowed us to host Christmas parties for children we support. The children had a blast!

Annual Kinship Choir Christmas Concert

Attended by our Chief Executive and Operations Manager, the concert was an uplifting start to the festive season.

Edinburgh Nursery donates cash for Christmas gift vouchers
As well as receiving the many gifts, toys and food parcels as mentioned above, we also received a generous cash donation from the Edinburgh Nursery. It can be difficult to match gifts to our older children and young people, therefore staff were delighted to be able to buy gift vouchers for various shops using the cash. The vouchers were a great hit and much appreciated by all who received them.

Circle's continued relationship with Scripture Union and Prison Fellowship
Circle will continue to work with Scripture Union and Prison Fellowship this year, building upon our successful relationship over the last couple of years. Plans are being put in place for  more fun filled and exciting holidays for our children and young people in the summer. Knowledge and skills are shared between the partner agencies to ensure that our children and young people maximise upon the opportunities that the holidays offer them. We look forward to building upon this relationship and wish all a successful 2016.
