Hello <<First Name>>

After the success of our recent networking events, we are collaborating with Digital Communities Wales on an event to look at how we can work to support digital skills in Wales. Supporting Digital Inclusion Together will take place on Tuesday 3 March in Llandudno and is open to all organisations in Wales, both those that are already part of the network and those who want to find out more about what we offer. Come along to chat to us about current opportunities and learning tools, and meet other local organisations.

Applications for our BT Skills for Tomorrow funding opportunity are still open. The programme is aimed at empowering people to gain the skills they need today, for a better tomorrow. This is a great opportunity for those who support socially excluded adults to learn essential digital skills. Applications are open until 5pm on Friday 14 February, for more information and details about eligibility please take a read of the guidance document on the website

Best wishes

Buddy with our Be Connected Australian Network

Be Connected, our Australian Online Network has over 3,000 community centres who support individuals with little or no digital skills to thrive in a digital world. We’re interested in helping to set-up collaborative partnerships between our Online Centres in the UK and our Be Connected Network Partners in Australia, to learn from each other, and hear about each other’s centres and the types of work they do.

We’re asking for 5 Online Centres from our network to come forward if they wish to be ‘buddied’ with a Network Partner in Australia. We’re asking you to share your expertise and best practise with an Australian centre and you’ll also have the opportunity to learn from them!

Visit our website to find out more information and complete the expression of interest form.

Reboot UK - How to Embed Digital Within Your Organisation

This week we're showcasing the Reboot UK project - a digital skills programme for socially excluded individuals, focused especially on people affected by homelessness and mental health problems. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the project is run by a partner consortium of Good Things Foundation, Homeless Link and Mind. Working with partners the Connecting with Digital report has been developed to evaluate the Community Connectors programme, run as part of the Reboot UK programme.

We've produced some videos explaining how the project works and hearing from organisations about what it has enabled them to do.
