Hello <<First Name>>
Get Online Week is fast approaching and I’m excited to hear all about the events many of you have planned during the UK’s largest digital inclusion campaign! We have many great events taking place, including Learn My Way demonstrations, bingo sessions, tea & coffee mornings and open days, all across the country. If you’ve registered, remember to add your events to your centre to let us know what you are planning, where and when.
I’m very pleased to announce we’ve hit 1,000 registered event holders for Get Online Week! Our 1,000th organisation to sign-up was Online Centre, Computers Within Reach in Doncaster. They will receive a tea & biscuits package to share amongst their visitors during Get Online Week.
Our latest episode of our Good Things Happen podcast is Get Online Week themed. Our host Charlotte Self is joined by Good Things Foundation Digital Inclusion Director, Adam Micklethwaite and Communications and Campaigns Manager, Chris Andersson. They outline the importance of Get Online Week in giving people the confidence to get more out of life online. Listen here.
If you haven’t yet registered as an event holder, there’s still time to receive your free marketing pack too. Visit www.getonlineweek.com to find out more - but register quick as packs are limited.
Don’t forget to share pictures of your events on social media by using the @getonlineweek twitter handle.
