Hello <<First Name>>
Do you support learners with digital skills but want to enhance your own? If yes, then this workshop could be for you! Online Centre, Smartlyte in Birmingham, will be delivering digital skills training designed to help you improve the work you do at your centre. As part of Facebook-funded digital skills programme, Smartlyte has been helping people to enhance their digital skills and increase their employability.
This workshop, which will take place on Thursday 28 March, is a great opportunity to help build your digital confidence and help you to support others. These skills are perfect for centre staff and volunteers who already offer digital skills support for learners as they are more advanced than the skills we offer through Learn My Way.
The sessions will cover:
- How you can use innovation as a tool to come up with solutions to your problems. You’ll learn the techniques of innovation called Design Thinking, which is a process used by businesses worldwide, including Facebook, Apple and Google
- Understand why cybersecurity is relevant to you and how you can protect yourself. Find out core methods you can use to protect yourself online
If you want to advance your digital skills or know someone else who does - register for free today.
