There are lots of fantastic funding opportunities available to you as members of the Online Centres Network which will help you support others to fully benefit from digital.

To find out more about the following funding opportunities visit the Online Centres Network website:

  • Everyone Thrives Online: In partnership with Google.org, we’re aiming to support 30,000 limited users of the internet to gain the confidence they need to thrive online and achieve positive work or life outcomes. That could be finding a job or improving their career, or even just becoming more confident with digital in their current role. Applications are open until Friday 26 July.
  • NHS Widening Digital Participation Digital Health Hubs: In the next phase of our three-year Widening Digital Participation programme funded by NHS Digital, we’ll be working with organisations to ensure people have the skills they need to access relevant health information and services online. Applications are open until Friday 26 July.
  • Power Up: With the financial support of J.P. Morgan, organisations based in Bournemouth, East London, Glasgow and Edinburgh can apply for funding between £50,000 - £150,000 to help people boost their business, their finances, their skills or their careers. Applications are open until Wednesday 31 July.

NEW COURSES ON LEARN MY WAY - OFFICE PROGRAMS
 
Over the past few months, our Learning Team has been working with Online Centres to create a brand new subject area on Learn My Way - Office programs. We’re pleased to announce that four brand new courses are now available for you to use with your learners.
 
The new courses are:

Introduction to office programs
Creating documents
Creating spreadsheets
Creating presentations
 
The Creating documents course has now been updated and moved from the Using your computer or device subject to Office programs. For more information on any of our new courses, please contact our Network Team at hello@goodthingsfoundation.org or call 0114 3491666.
