Hello <<First Name>>
As the coronavirus situation continues to develop in the UK, we know your organisation will be thinking about how best to support your staff, volunteers and learners, and help them to keep themselves safe and healthy. It’s important we keep ourselves and our loved ones safe at this time of uncertainty and that we can communicate with others to help reduce the impact of isolation.
We know that coronavirus is going to have a significant impact on your work. The situation is disruptive, and may be confusing or frightening for you and the people you support. We want to do what we can help. We have put together a short survey so you can tell us what we can do for you. I know you will have challenges and good ideas we haven’t thought of. The survey will remain open indefinitely and you can complete it more than once if you want to update us. The more we know, the more we can do for you. Keep reading the emails from us as we’ll be updating you soon on what we’re doing as a response to your ideas and feedback from the survey.
We’ve recently created some useful resources to help you and your learners find the latest health information and advice online and know how to video call friends, family, neighbours, or even the hospital or GP. We’re holding a webinar - Managing coronavirus as an Online Centre demonstrating these resources tomorrow, Friday 20 March at 11:30am-12:30pm. There will also be an opportunity to ask us questions - we can’t promise that we’ll be able to answer them all but we’ll definitely try. I hope you can join us.
The help you provide to people who are excluded from digital has never been more important than at the present time. I know that you will be working incredibly hard to support your communities, and we want to support you and those you’re working with.
You can always get in touch with us as usual by email, phone and social media. Please do keep in touch and keep yourselves healthy.
