Hello <<First Name>>
COVID-19 exposed and exacerbated the digital exclusion faced by the 1.9m UK households still lacking access to the internet. We’ve heard stories of challenges faced and how devices have changed peoples lives. What has become apparent through the DevicesDotNow programme is how the pandemic left digitally excluded individuals and families desperate.
Since DevicesDotNow began in March, we’ve received an overwhelming amount of support. A huge number of people from dozens of organisations, including our funding partners, have come together and without their hard work and dedication it wouldn’t have been possible to help some of the most vulnerable households in the UK in such challenging times.
A big thank you to our donors for their generosity and support - lots of individuals and organisations have donated both devices, and money to our Crowdfunder campaign and these contributions have enabled us to continue the important work.
I would also like to thank our community partners, for supporting individuals through their tireless local work with a passion and drive that is so inspiring. Collectively you have supported 11,437 individuals and counting.
Take a look at our third DevicesDotNow impact report to hear more, read our case studies and find out what’s next for the initiative.
