Talk Money Week - Nobody In The Dark lights up London and Bristol
We’re delighted to share that Good Things Foundation has partnered with Mastercard, Joseph Roundtree Foundation, Clean Slate, APLE Collective and spoken word poet Hussain Manawer, to ‘Leave Nobody In The Dark’ and shine a light on the millions of people who are still in the dark about their digital finances.
This week is Talk Money Week; an annual awareness week which aims to get the nation talking about money and promote financial wellbeing across the UK. To kickstart the campaign, Mastercard has lit up buildings in London and Bristol for 19 minutes and 40 seconds to represent the 19.4 million people in the UK who are unprepared for the economic downturn which will follow the pandemic.
The Leave Nobody in The Dark campaign provides 1-2-1 support, access to devices and a digital hub to give guidance. The hub provides handy hints and tips from us and Quids in! Magazine.
Whether your learners are worried about staying safe online, need help organising their finances, or if lockdown has particularly impacted their financial situation, the Nobody in the Dark hub is there to help.
