This short video explains how the Money Health-Check works.

Users of the Money Health-Check in Bath reported being at least £316 better off. To refer people to the service, visit the Clean Slate website.

NEW ONLINE PORTAL TO CLAIM TAX RELIEF FOR WORKING FROM HOME

Working from home is now a requirement for many workplaces to help stop the spread of COVID-19. The Government understands this brings additional expenses such as raised heating and water bills. To help you manage these costs, HMRC have recently announced a new portal which enables workers to claim tax relief whilst they are working from home.

To find out more, read of their
press release about the claims process, the rate of tax relief and the types of work-related expenses customers can claim for. Individuals are also asked to create an online tax account if they haven’t already, which will allow them to apply for the tax relief quicker.
