We’ve been working with Online Centres to develop a package of training to help you to train volunteers supporting people with their Universal Credit applications.
A few weeks ago we tested our training package at Online Centre Citizens Advice in Sheffield, with members of staff working on their new support phone lines. After the training, staff felt more informed about local support and how to help people with basic digital skills.
The resources are now available on the Online Centres Network website and are a great way to create some local links with other like-minded organisations who are helping people with their Universal Credit applications. New resources include personas, facilitator notes and session guides.
