Members from local churches and the FM district also participated. A special thanks to Beach Lake for hosting and Liberty FMC members, Jane, Norma, Val and Pr. Ed. for your participation and involvement!

On Sunday Josh challenged the congregation to dream, plan and pray BIG, in order to reach their communities!
Greenville College to Spain...
While in the USA, Josh and Susy met with Greenville staff to discuss and plan for a Study Abroad partnership. The Spain mission has established the Experience Spain Study Abroad program (E.S.S.A.). Which will host students who are studying Spanish, or are on the independent study tract. We are currently planning to host four students this coming fall. Aglow in Spain... Josh was invited to speak at the Aglow chapter in southern Spain (Murcia). Aglow is an international women's ministry. Our English speaking church in Murcia is active in this ministry. They invite men to speak twice a year. It was a blessing to be a part of the work! Susy was invited to speak last year.
Partnering in Education.... In May we had a special training weekend for our students. of the John Wesley Bible institute We are currently partnering with Edutech Mission. A ministry of Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF). This ministry focuses on education and training of Spanish speaking leaders in Latin American countries and Spain. This was their first training event in Spain. We are planning a second training event next year.
There were eighteen participants in attendance from our churches (Madrid, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote). Each participant received a seven inch tablet with theological resources that will help with their continuing education. These are valuable resources as we train for implementation of Community Church plants in each of our areas.
UK Annual Conference...
Also in May, we had the opportunity and privilege of attending the UK Annual Conference. This was our first time participating. We were able to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. The UK conference is active in missions in several countries in Europe and Africa. We were encouraged and believe God is leading our churches to work together. We are looking forward to partnering and reaching Europe for His Glory!
Spain Cycle Tours.... In June Spain Cycle Tours hosted twenty participants (16 cyclist) from several different countries. This journey was approximately 700 Kms (435 miles). From Lisbon, Portugal to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. This journey is known as the "Portuguese Way" and one of the many pilgrimage routes of the "Camino de Santiago". You would be pleased to know that our cycling tours help support the After school program. We are already planing next year's journey. There will be more information in a few months. Join us!
