It's Time!

Our in-person worship service is just about here - and we are so excited to see you all and to worship with you! Remember to bring your journals and Bibles to our worship gathering. And we'd love to have you join us tomorrow to help prepare our building at an all-church work-day.

In Genesis 14, we read of Abram's recognition that everything he received was from God's hand. He returned a tenth - a tithe - of everything back to the Lord. God's tithe is present throughout the Scriptures, and it continues to guide our approach to finances. The tithe is the one place in Scripture where God invites us to test him to see how he will faithfully provide (Malachi 3).

As you receive your stimulus checks, we invite you to prayerfully consider God's invitation to faithfully tithe this (unexpected) income. The work of West Morris Church continues to expand, and is reliant and in need of your faithful gifts. May God bless his work and ministry, and your faithfulness in returning back just 10% of what God gives to us.

And he blessed him and said,
“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
Possessor of heaven and earth;
and blessed be God Most High,
who has delivered your enemies into your hand!”
And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

As a reminder, you are encouraged to join me every Monday from 10-11 AM on Zoom for Coffee with Pastor Kristen. You can join by going to bit.ly/WM_Zoom.

God bless you!
Pastor Kristen
