This year's Spring for the Arts

) starts on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 5:00 PM. For our newest members, this is our annual -- and biggest -- fundraiser for the organization. This year's event will be a collaborative joint effort by the Chaparral Patrons of the Performing Arts and Chaparral Marching Band.
The Auction will launch in conjunction with the Orchestra and Band Feeder Concerts and run through the 5th of April at 6:00 PM. Auction items can be previewed on-line, or they will be available to view at each of the feeder concerts next week:
In addition to the auction, there will also be a pasta dinner served from 5:00 to 7:00 PM each concert night - $5.00 per person at the door and children under 4 are free. Come early and eat before the concerts and then peruse the auction and grab and go items. For purchases made that night, there will be an "auction" check station so that these items do not have to be taken into the concerts. Like a "coat" check, simply pick up items when you are ready to leave.

Our fabulous and dedicated auction team has been working nonstop to procure an assorted variety of incredible auction items from local and national donors. There will be items in all price ranges from which to choose and bid. We will once again be using 32 Auctions to preview, accept bids, and purchase auction items. Although the auction can be previewed by anyone; in order to bid on items participants must have a bidder account set up with 32 Auctions. This can be done in advance or anytime during the auction. If you have previously participated in our auction and created an account, you can use it again for this auction by simply logging in without the need to create a new account.
New this year, many auction items will have a "purchase now" pricing option to make it possible to purchase those must-have favorite items immediately. The site is available now to preview the items we have received to date, but we are continuing to add items as they are received, so check back often for the latest and greatest offerings.
