Hidden Heroes Interviews:
On Monday 8th March, to mark International Woman's day we launched our Instagram live series: Hidden Heroes, which was developed to celebrate women in our Community and the inspiring work they are doing. Next week on Monday 22nd March at 7pm,  we will be interviewing another 3 amazing women in our community via instagram live, tune in for some interesting and inspiring conversations.

Claire Pritchard: CEO of GCDA

Claire has 30+ years’ experience  in food. From managing restaurants at the Royal Festival Hall to her own restaurants in Ireland and a pub in Deptford. 
Joining GCDA in 2002 (www.gcda.coop), now CEO, she has grown their work to include public health programmes, training, Sustainable Food Cities partnerships, managing community buildings, food growing, restaurants, production kitchens, cookery clubs, wholesale fruit and vegetable, street trading, new markets and ready meals.   In 2019 opening RARE farmers market and Made in Greenwich supporting local artisan makers.  
Claire has been on the London Food Board https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/business-and-economy/food/london-food-board since its beginning in 2005 becoming Chair in January 2018.  She became a Trustee of Borough Market in 2016.  

Zoë Tapper: British Actress and Ambassador for Mum's Aid

Zoë  is a British actress who is known for her roles across TV, film and stage. Just days after graduating from the Central School of Speech and Drama, Zoë procured her first film role of Nell Gwynn in Richard Eyre’s Stage Beauty. This marked the beginning of a series of film roles including These Foolish Things, Blood,  Zoo, The Good Traitor and soon to be released Ire.  She has had leading roles on stage in  Peter  Gill’s Epitaph  for  George  Dillon in  the  West  End, as Desdemona in Othello at  The  Globe and Last  of  the  Boys at  the  Southwark Playhouse. Zoë has worked extensively on television with an eclectic mix of roles, from showgirl Ellen Love in Mr Selfridge, to her Royal Television Society Award nominated performance in Twenty  Thousand  Streets  under  the  Sky, directed  by  Simon  Curtis.    She is known for her roles in  A Harlot’s Progress, Survivors,  Desperate  Romantics, Safe House and  Liar.  Zoë has been an ambassador for Mum's Aid for almost 8 years now and recently wrote, produced and acted in her own short film, Stand Still, which premiered at the London Film Festival and is  a short film about Post natal depression. Zoë can currently be seen in Netflix, original series, The One.

Victoria Maynard:Community engagement consultant and Parent Volunteer who runs Special Children's group at Home-Start Greenwich.

Victoria's daughter Sophie has complex disabilities following a lack of oxygen at birth.  When Sophie was a baby Home-Start Greenwich helped Victoria set up a playgroup for children with disabilities.  More than four years later the group is still running and goes from strength to strength.   Victoria trained as an architect before specialising in post-disaster housing reconstruction.  She is currently completing a PhD at University College London alongside working as a community engagement consultant.
