'On Battersea Bridge'
Mixed Media
Jayson Lilley

We are proud to have brought together a group of talented artists, many of them new to the gallery, each with their own interpretation of the life and landscapes of  London.    Ancient and modern, abstract and
traditional - this exhibition offers variety and choice in style and content.

'Evening Light on the Thames'                                                       'The Gherkin'
Watercolour                                                                                      Oil on board
Graham Davies                                                                                 Paola Minekov

Through the prism of different media we take both a contemporary and a traditionalist look at our glorious capital city.  The exhibiting artists find intrigue in everything from rubbish bins and graffiti to the flowers growing out of the metalwork of Hammersmith Bridge.  The timeless splendour of St Paul's vies with brash newcomers like the Gherkin.

We will be exhibiting works from the following artists: Rob Adams, Steve Alexander, Michael Alford, Austin Cole, Graham Davies, Pierre Engelbrecht, Sarah Fosse, Chris King, Jayson Lilley, Colin Michael, Paola Minekov, Venetia Norris, Eduard Palao, and Michael Wallner and Zoe Webster.

The exhibition brings together paintings of much loved views of the 'old' London, together with modern city landmarks. Traditional oil on canvas sit alongside etchings (such as this view of 'The Shard and Southwark Bridge' by Austin Cole), watercolours, limited edition prints and photographs.  Not just buildings, but the people who make up this wonderful city.  Altogether a fabulous selection of different styles, media and subject matter by a variety of artists - some well known and others just beginning to make their mark.

Exhibition open daily until 2pm on Sunday 2nd November.
