Current Funding


First Start Loan – Primary Producer
First Start Loans provide you with finance of up to $650,000 to assist you in the early years of establishing your primary production enterprise.

First Start Loans – Commercial Fisher
Provides concessional interest loans for the establishment of primary production or commercial fishing enterprises.

Drought Relief Assistance Scheme (DRAS)
This is a scheme set up by the Queensland Government to help primary producers in the grazing industry manage their livestock resource during drought. Maximum $20,000 per property per annum.

Capital Grants Programme
The Capital Grants Programme provides funding to assist non-government primary and secondary school communities to improve capital infrastructure.

Get Playing Places and Spaces
Provides funding for new or upgraded sport and recreation facility projects. Eligible organisations can apply up to $100,000 (GST exclusive). Applicants will need to contribute a minimum of 20 per cent to the total eligible project costs.

Emissions Reduction Fund
The Emissions Reduction Fund creates a positive incentive for Australian businesses to adopt smarter practices to cut the amount of greenhouse gases they create.

Get Going  - Round 5
Provides funding to support not-for-profit local sport and recreation organisations to create and provide access to participation opportunities for Queenslanders. Eligible organisations can apply for funding of up to $7500.

Australian Ethical Foundation - Community Grants
Grants for $5,000, $10,000 and $20,000 available. Organisations working for a charitable purpose for the benefit of people, animals, and/or the planet in Australia or internationally are encouraged to apply. Applications close Monday 18 July 2016.

Rural Medical and Nursing Scholarships
Australian Rotary Health provides funding into areas of health that do not readily attract funding, and promotes findings to the community. ARH have a broad vision to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians.

Human Rights Innovation Fund
Amnesty International Australia's Human Rights Innovation Fund allows anyone to apply interested in promoting and defending human rights direct access to funding to support new, innovative, creative initiatives. Closes 31 August 2016.

Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Programmes
The aim of this programme is to contribute to the development of a highly skilled and relevant Australian workforce that supports economic sustainability and competitiveness by providing opportunities for skills-based training by providing personal benefits.

Jetstar – Flying Start Programme
Jetstar's Flying Start Program invites community groups and organisations across Australia to apply for a grant to fund a project that will enrich the lives of people in their local community.

Stronger Queensland small business support
More than 5000 Queensland small businesses, community groups and sporting clubs now have access for the first time to a free dispute resolution service to settle issues with their electricity retailer.

Sunsuper's Dreams for a Better World Program – Round Three
Grants to support eligible nominated Australian-based charities, community groups or not-for-profit organisations. Round Three is to make the world a better place for sporting clubs, recreational causes and anyone wanting to learn new skills or teach others.

The Courier-Mail Children's Fund
Provides financial support to charitable organisations throughout Queensland to help them meet the needs of children with special needs.

DeviantArt Creative Grants
Provides grants to artists upon application for projects related to making and displaying art.

Inger Rice Foundation Grants
Provides funding to incorporated organisations involved with supporting relationships between young children and their families/carers.
 
Aim for the Stars Grants
Enabling girls and women to invest in their future and fulfil their potential.

Aboriginal Benefits Foundation Grants
The Foundation provides grants to assist Aboriginal communities and individuals by providing funds to support projects which advance the aims of the Foundation, with the current focus on supporting art, health and cultural projects with a connection to Aboriginal art and/or artists.

Elite Indigenous Travel and Accommodation Assistance Program 
This program provides funding for Indigenous sportspeople who have been selected in an official state/territory team to compete at national championships or the official Australian team to compete at an international competition.

Australian Communities Foundation Funding
Each year, ACF makes hundreds of grants to support charitable organisations and projects all around the country and internationally.

Consumer Advocacy Panel Grants
The Panel offers the following grants to support energy advocacy and research. 

Matana Foundation for Young People Grant Program
This program aims to provide assistance to disadvantaged young people in Australia in order to give them the opportunity to reach their full educational and social potential.
 
Practice Incentives Programme
The Practice Incentives Programme (PIP) is aimed at supporting general practice activities.

Wage Subsidy Scheme
Employers may receive up to $1,500 as an incentive to employ a person with a disability who is registered with a Disability Employment Services provider.

Restart Wage Subsidy
Restart offers employers who employ and retain eligible job seekers who are over 50 up to $10,000 in assistance for a full-time employee over two years. 

Business Finance Loans – Indigenous Business Australia
For Indigenous Australians starting small businesses.  

Young Carers Bursary Programme
This programme aims to help relieve financial pressure on young carers to undertake part-time employment. Bursaries worth up to $3,000 each.
 
Sponsorship Funding – Qld
Sponsorship will be considered for initiatives, events and activities that are outside the scope funding provided to assist eligible organisations to deliver human services, and educational and preventative activities.
 
Playing Queensland Touring Fund
Provides funding to increase the number of touring arts productions, extend the reach of the tours and double the touring arts experiences in regional communities. Ongoing.
 
ecoBiz Queensland
Provides self-assessment tools, training and information to help Queensland Business to improve efficiencies and resource use for financial and environmental benefits.

Export Skills Development – Qld
Offers monitoring, networking and skills development assistance for export-ready businesses.

Business Growth Grants
Financial help for businesses that want to improve their business operations (as a result of receiving a Business Evaluation).

Mentoring for Growth (M4G) – Qld
Provides access to a panel of business mentors who can help to address commercial challenges.

Indigenous Advancement Strategy
This programme is aimed at improving the lives and outcomes for indigenous Australians. If your businesses in involves in the programme's key areas, you may be eligible for funding through this programme.

NAB Impact Investment Readiness Fund
The NAB Impact Investment Readiness Fund is a $1 million fund established to provide mission-driven organisations with targeted advice and support to help them secure investment for scaling up their social or environmental impact.

Tim Fairfax Family Foundation
This Foundation supports Australian charitable organisations and initiatives aimed at addressing the particular needs of communities in rural, remote and regional areas within Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Sidney Myer Fund
The Sidney Myer Creative Fellowships provide unrestricted grants to individual artists, arts managers and thought leaders in the humanities.

2016 Premier's Sustainability Awards
Nominations are now open recognising the achievements of those businesses, industry groups, schools, community groups, primary producers and individuals who are leading the way in sustainability, innovation and eco-efficiency. Applications close 5pm Friday 15 July, 2016.

Advance Queensland Community Digital Champions
Seeking outstanding individuals who are passionate digital advocates, wanting to give back to their community by helping others become digitally-savvy. Applicants will exemplify the benefits offered by the digital world and inspire others to take part. Round 3 closes 31 August 2016.

Advance Queensland Young Starters
The Young Starters Fund is now open and will provide funding up to $20,000 to eligible organisations to deliver events and activities that build entrepreneurial and technology start up skills in young Queenslanders, aged 15–24.

Join our Innovation Network
The Advance Queensland navigator is an online engagement tool that offers Queensland entrepreneurs, start-up businesses and investors a platform for submitting and sharing their ideas, innovations, products and services.

Business Development Fund
This $40 million fund provides Queensland businesses at the forefront of commercialising cutting edge research or innovative ideas, products or services with an investment opportunity to help unlock their innovative potential.

Google Advertising Grants
Provides free AdWords advertising on Google search results page.

Industry Skills Fund
The Industry Skills Fund assists businesses to invest in training and support services, and to develop innovative training solutions.

Queensland Destination Events Program
The Queensland Destination Events Program seeks to leverage the link between events and the destinations, extending the flow of the economic, marketing and social benefits of events throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland. Round 5 opens 11 July 2016 and closes 19 October 2016.
