Mobile Black Spot success for Ipswich and West Moreton Region

The Mobile Black Spot Programme will deliver almost 500 new or upgraded mobile base stations around Australia - 429 Telstra base stations and 70 Vodafone base stations. As a direct result from the independent Mobile Black Spot testing program RDA Ipswich and West Moreton conducted late 2013, this region has secured five new Telstra towers.  READ MORE

Bridges Renewal Programme Round Two open until 31 August 2015 

The Australian Government has committeed $300 million under the Bridges Renewal Programme (BRP) for road bridge projects that contribute to productivity and/or community access. The Ipswich and West Moreton Region had four successful projects in Round One. Councils are encouraged discuss priorities for Round Two with local communities, relevant industry stakeholders, Regional Development Australia committees and state road agencies. READ MORE

Queensland Families snap up almost 12,000 Get Started Vouchers

Almost 12,000 Get Started Vouchers, worth $1.72 million, were provided to Queensland families under the latest funding round which closed today.

Getting Going Clubs provides funding of up to $7500 to help clubs provide participation opportunities in the community.

Get Playing Places adn Spaces provides funding of up to $100,000 for developing new or upgraded sport and recreation infrastructure.


$13 million Robelle Domain Lagoon set to open Saturday 5 September 2015.

Lockyer Valley Health and Wellbeing Expo on Sunday 23 August 10am-2pm at the Gatton Sports Centre

An initiative of Lockyer Regional Council for people in the community to focus on their health with about 50 exhibitors present on the day.
