Current Funding

Building our Regions Fund
This $200 million programme provides funding to local government for critical infrastructure in regional areas. There are four focused infrastructure funds under this programme. Round One closes 11 September 2015.

Industry Skills Fund
This programme is designed to boost business productivity and increase competitiveness across the economy.  

Capital Grants Programme
The CGP provides funding to assist non-government primary and secondary school communities to improve capital infrastructure.
First Start Loan - Primary Producer
First Start Loans provide you with finance of up to $650,000 to assist you in the early years of establishing your primary production enterprise.
Community Support Programme
This programme assists eligible child care providers in establishing and maintaining vital services in disadvantaged or regional and remote areas.

Practice Incentives Programme
The Practice Incentives Programme (PIP) is aimed at supporting general practice activities.

EFIC Producer Offset Loan
This loan is offered to small production companies which may have difficulty in attracting finance in the commercial market. 

Drought Relief Assistance Scheme (DRAS)
This is a scheme set up by the Queensland Government to help primary producers in the grazing industry manage their livestock resource during drought. Maximum $20,000 per property per annum.

Commonwealth Home Support Programme
The CHSP benefits frail older people and carers providing funding of around $1.6 billion in 2015/2016.
Wage Subsidy Scheme
Employers may receive up to $1,500 as an incentive to employ a person with a disability who is registered with a Disability Employment Services provider.

Restart Wage Subsidy
Restart offers employers who employ and retain eligible job seekers who are over 50 up to $10,000 in assistance for a full-time employee over two years. 

Business Finance Loans - Indigenous Business Australian
For Indigenous Australians starting small businesses.  

Young Carers Bursary Programme
This program aims to help relieve financial pressure on young carers to undertake part-time employment. Bursaries worth up to $3,000 each.

Stronger Communities Programme
This program will deliver $45 million over two years by funding small capital projects which will deliver social benefits. Grants from $5,000 up to a maximum of $20,000. 

Community Development Grants

These grants are to provide funding to not-for-profit incorporated community organisations for projects which respond to local needs and issues.
