Turn on the television at any point of the day to find anti-smoking commercials sprinkled throughout a sports game or nightly sitcom. As many organizations and levels of government focus efforts on eliminating tobacco use from the general population, one sub-population in particular continues to be ignored: individuals addicted to alcohol and drugs in treatment recovery programs.

E-cigarettes used by 1 in 20 Scots, says health survey

In 2014, for the first time, adults were asked about their use of e-cigarettes, which deliver nicotine in a vapour. The results suggested 1 in 20 adults (5%) currently use them, and 15% of all adults have tried them. Half of all smokers said they had used them but just 1% of people who had never smoked regularly said they had tried e-cigarettes.

D.C.'s Electronic Cigarette Tax is an Insane Policy that Will Help Renormalize Smoking

This is one of the most insane "public health" policies I've ever heard of. Taxing e-cigarettes at a whopping 67% rate is nothing more than a gift to Big Tobacco. Undoubtedly, it will put many vaping shops out of business, resulting in significant numbers of ex-smokers returning to smoking and many smokers who would otherwise have quit using e-cigarettes not doing so.
