DC Vape Group Vows To Fight FDA Regs [...]

A new vape industry group is promising to fight tooth and nail against “junk science,” severe regulations and widespread misinformation about e-cigarettes. The Washington, D.C.-based Vapor Technology Association (VTA) represents manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, distributors, suppliers and retailers and boasts 70 members since being launched Jan. 27.


Why are people so illogical about vaping?

There’re certain subjects that seem to turn people into drooling idiots. Those subjects often involve people enjoying themselves so we can at least construct some clues as to why the idiocy. Stores will be banned from displaying tobacco products, after changes to the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Bill were passed on Monday (Mar 14). E-cigarettes – under-18s back a precautionary approach

As well as banning sales to under-18s, the new Scottish laws require retailers to ask for proof of age when selling e-cigarettes to someone that looks under 25 (similar to alcohol). They ban the sale of e-cigarettes from vending machines, make it an offence to buy on behalf of someone under 18, and require retailers to put their names on a product register. [...]

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the United States, and many counterparts elsewhere, require it. Regulators know that some die-hard nicotine addicts are going to smoke anyway and if they do, there needs to be a safe way to butt out.
