Like the panel beater with a rusty car - we’ve been a wee bit remiss with our own client communications. So to make amends, here’s an update of whats been happening at your favourite creative agency over the past 12 months...

Recognised Nationally at Best Design Awards

Our first ever entry to the national Best Design Awards has made it to the finals, alongside some very, very fast company. Congratulations to my awesome team for their clever and creative work on the ‘Portraits of our Place’ project for Western Bay of Plenty District Council.

Rebranded, better digs…

Over the past 12 months we’ve put ourselves under the microscope and set some heady goals for the business. As a result we’ve hired, updated, up-skilled and given our already tasty office a bit of a makeover.

Call in - you know you’re always welcome.

Meet the new team members

Most of you already know myself and Kerry, but you may be less familiar with some of the other brand and marketing all-stars who keep the wheels turning at Devcich&Co.

Stacey Smith came on board last year after a stint in Melbourne working for some of the giants of the ad world. With a serious case of wanderlust, we share her with departure lounges and exotic locations.

Julia Foxley joins us from across the ditch as our strategy and client relationship manager. She’s acutely organised and balances a room full of right brainers with some left brain rigour.

Christina Smith - joining us after stint in the US, Christina brings her New York state of mind and sharp fashion sense to the team - as well as some fresh design talent.

Donovan Boucher or ‘The Don’ as he is lovingly nicknamed, has seen the light, relocating from Auckland to achieve the work life balance nirvana we call life at the Mount.

Suzie Monk manages all the fun stuff – in other words, our accounts. She’s the reason we pay all our accounts on time, and chase you when you don’t...

Keri-Ann Teaz comes to us as a vibrant intern, with fresh ideas, no bad habits, natural design flair and a willingness to learn.

It’s taken me a while to assemble this team, but now I couldn’t be happier with not only the work that’s coming out of the studio, but the attitude these guys bring to work and their ability to work together as a team.

Be a sport! Help us beat prostate cancer: 2015 Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

On Sunday the 27th of September, I'm going to don my finest threads and motor along in the 2015 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to help find a cure for prostate cancer. Why? Because over 1,300 men a day die of prostate cancer worldwide, and that’s something we aim to stop. Your donation will help The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride reach its goal of $US3 million to fund research into a cure for a disease that claims far too many gentlemen each and every year.

So get involved in the best dressed way to battle prostate cancer and sponsor my ride — cheers and thank you!  Click here for more information or to make a donation.

Thanks for reading - talk soon
