Over the past little while we’ve helped a few of our neighbours here at The Mount create or refresh their brands. All passionate business owners with an eye for design and super positive outlooks. They’re happy, we’re happy... Boom.
Mount Surf Shop
When you’re an institution you don’t mess with the mix. Mount Surf Shop has been around forever and the retro brand they’ve been rocking simply needed a bit of a massage. A reshape and hand drawn font have captured the essence of the classic longboard styled brand, but given it a new fresh look. The Surf Shop owners Lauren and Timmy are well chuffed with the freshen up and looking forward to another cracking Christmas at The Mount.

Latitude 37
Mark at Latitude 37 absolutely didn’t want to change his brand. He now can’t believe he stuck with the old Latitude 37 brand he inherited for so long. That happens in this business, a lot. Latitude 37 is an institution at The Mount but it’s old brand wasn’t giving out the “Viaduct” vibe we knew it deserved. Well that’s been fixed now and Latitude’s brand is as tasty as what comes out of the kitchen and as smooth as top shelf whiskey. Passers by be wowed - this is the place to eat.

Nine Lives
Mother and daughter team Kim and Yasmin Devcich (yes, that’s Brent’s wife and daughter) have created a recycled designer and vintage store that’s become an institution. With a cult like following from customers who travel from all over the country the shopping experience at Nine Lives has been described as “crack for women”. Family can be your toughest clients, but with this rebrand everyone was super happy with the proposed new look so kitty got herself a makeover. Prrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Forty Theives
When maverick barber Ali Kamaruddin (alias Ali Barber) decided to open his own joint he knew he wanted a brand that separated his shop from the masses. Ali knew he was going to need the big guns to pull this thing off. Unfortunately being a start up the only guns Ali could afford were water pistols. Fortunately for Ali his mates at Devcich&Co couldn’t bear the thought of him without a brand as razor sharp, strong and stylish as his good self and his handiwork so we hooked the brother up for a very modest budget.
