A Summer of Discovery

The Developmental Kids Summer Respite Camp wrapped up on July 22. The campers had a blast this year going on the usual trips to Tommy Sheets Quarter Horses, the Louisville Zoo, and Huber's and to new places like the New Albany-Floyd County Animal Shelter. We are so proud of this year's campers. Each made progress on at least one of their goals for the six week camp!

Sheriff Grant made plenty of rounds that last week, giving out 5 tickets to staff for various parking violations, but he also saved the day! He noticed that one staff person nearly had a flat tire. The staff was notified and got their tire fixed. If you missed Grant's story in last month's e-newsletter, you can read about him on our blog
The Annual Report will be in print soon, but for now you can check it out online here!
Thank you to Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County for their continued generous support of Rauch! They recently awarded us with a grant of $12,750 for much-needed technology updates across our organization. Computers are the backbone of all we do here at Rauch. From tracking the goals clients achieve in our ACCESS program, to creating the weekly schedule for our Summer Camp kids, to helping a Supported Employment client fill out online job applications and create their resume, what we do simply wouldn't be possible without technology. Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County is our hero‬!
