Rauch's Supported Living program offers people with developmental disabilities financial guidance, transportation, wellness coordination, and opportunities for social interaction with friends and neighbors, plus it teaches daily living skills.

One of these daily living skills is COOKING! Jay shows off his skills while he and Beth, his home leader, make some delicious macaroni and cheese & salmon patties. However, Jay needs your help! He loves to help cook, but needs some new recipes to try! We're searching for recipes that are easy to make, tasty, and healthy. If you've got a great recipe or cooking tip, please send them to Bonnie at
ballen@rauchinc.org. We will compile all the recipes we receive and make a Rauch Family Recipe book for each of Rauch's Supported Living homes. Extra recipe books will be sold with proceeds going to client activities.

Additionally, we are accepting waiting list applications for Rauch's Hawthorn Glen Supported Living housing on an ongoing basis. If you would like to add your name to the waiting list for housing at Hawthorn Glen, contact Brooke Pierson, Director of Supported Living, at 812-945-4063 or bpierson@rauchinc.org, or visit rauchinc.org/supportedliving/. Individuals on the waiting list are selected for the program based on a number of factors, including: availability of openings, length of time on the waiting list, individual needs and circumstances, compatibility with others who are and/or will be residing in the home, and ability to pay for services (Medicaid Waiver funding).

Rauch Prom: A Night by the Bonfire

Everyone put on their best, ate a delicious meal, and got down and boogied at Rauch's first ever Prom. The theme was "A Night by the Bonfire". Every last detail was in place thanks to the hard work of Jessie Reed, Brian James, and the many, many other staff members and volunteers who lent a hand, as well as the generous donors who made the evening possible. A wonderful and magical time was had by all! More photos available for view on our Facebook page.
