More than just maintaining your flexibility, knowledge of forms, fitness etc
Set some ‘SMART’ goals. (Specific: Measurable: Achievable: Realistic: Time specific )
Eg Touching your toes/sit and reach test; Wedge a ruler between your toes! Measure how far you can reach, train hard, re-measure in Dec.
Dave improved his flexibility in last lockdown :) ( and put on some weight :( )
We had couple of students who learnt an entire new form and fixed sparring in last lockdown;
they sent in weekly videos, we gave corrections / feedback …
they have a provisional pass and are now learning their next form!
Set your own personal targets: e.g. Double clap jumping press up, master that form combo you keep getting wrong,
punches thrown in 30 seconds, turn off the light switch a with front kick… (in slow motion - don’t break it!)
