We're about to leave for Brazil on the Pantanal Water Project

We're about to return to the Pantanal.
The Pantanal is the largest wetland area in the world. It is located in Brazil, near the border of Bolivia. We have been sending teams from YWAM Richmond for several years into this region to build water filters. Madeline and I last went to the Pantanal in 2015, and we are excited to return. Installing water filters in homes makes a real difference in the lives of people, and it is an amazing vehicle to share the Gospel.

Pantanal Water Project

This will be the first time we have taken Non-YWAMers to this beautiful and remote region. We will be bringing a team of about 40 people from Commonwealth Chapel, our home church in Richmond.

We hope God uses this trip to inspire the members of our team, and our whole church with a greater enthusiasm for missions.

Filters Save Lives

Since our Brazilian YWAM friends began installing these filters in the Pantanal several years ago, those with filters have reported reduction of illness and infant mortality. The filters have also proved to be effective, durable and simple to maintain.
