Rescued Pups and Vintage Goods All Deserve a Second Chance!

Stash is partnering up with locally-owned pet store Abrams & Weakley for a special event to support the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area (HSHA). On Sunday, August 3rd we'll be hosting Shop & Adopt, a chance for you to meet some HSHA adoptable animals and learn more about the organization's programs and services.

Abrams & Weakley has been serving the greater Harrisburg area since 1985 by providing high-quality, human grade, holistic and nutritious pet foods, treats and supplements. They also offer nutritional advice, professional pet grooming, a fun selection of toys to keep your pet happy and even a fenced-in play area, perfect for city dwelling pups who lack green space at their homes!

Leading up to the event, we are collecting donations for the HSHA. See the Wish List below to get a better idea of what they need most. The lovely folks at Abrams & Weakley are offering 20% off all wish list purchases that will be donated to Stash!

We'll have a bin out this Friday, July 11th, through August 3rd to collect the supplies. Thanks for helping us support animals in need!

HSHA's top needs include:

  • nonscoopable kitty litter

Our Own
Adopted Pets...

"We found Boss when he was 3 years old at a high-kill shelter while living in LA in 2008. I knew he was the right pup when we took him out of the kennel and he refused to acknowledge anything but me, sitting right at my feet immediately. His eyes just said, "please get me outta here!" He has been the sweetest, smartest, and most loyal, trusting friend that we have ever had."

"Beetlejuice came from an over crowded shelter in North Carolina. I rescued her in 2007, and she has been a wonderful companion ever since. When I met her at the shelter after finding her on, she army crawled into my lap and had no plans on letting me leave without her. Shelter dogs truly understand that people are there to help them and offer a second chance."
