Dear Friends of Roedde House,

The West End Seniors' Network presented the Strawberry Festival with Roedde House's participation on June 22. As usual, we have upcoming jazz and classical concerts - read on for details! Finally, we are sad to announce that Kelsey has resigned from her position as museum manager. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours!

Hope to see you at the museum soon.

Roedde House Museum Hours

The Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11-4pm, and on Sundays for tea and tour from 1-4pm. We are closed on Mondays.

We will be open by donation from 11-4pm on Friday, July 26th.
Upcoming Classical and Jazz Concerts
On July 14th, the Sea and Sky Collective presents Chromaticity, featuring Joan Blackman, violin; Julia Nolan, saxophones; and Jane Hayes, piano.  All impressive musicians individually, this combination is nothing short of electrifying.  With music by Charles Koechlin, Srul Irving Glick, Jean Françaix, Marc Eychenne, and Vancouver’s own Eileen Padgett, this concert is not to be missed.

The classical concert is on July 14th at 4pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students, seniors and members. Show begins at 4 pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes in advance for seat selection.

*These concert series would not be possible without the generous support of the McGrane-Pearson Endowment Fund and several private donors.*
Our Summer Jazz on the Porch series returns! The Ben Henriques Trio will play on July 11th.

Summer jazz concerts take place outdoors and are pay-what-you-wish. The concert will begin at 7pm, and you are welcome to bring your own chairs or use the chairs provided.

A small number of VIP seats are available for $15 here. These seats are super-comfy and front row! The Summer Jazz on the Porch Series is made possible thanks to a grant from the City of Vancouver, Cultural Services.

Strawberry Festival

We participated in the Strawberry Festival on June 22nd. The West End Senior's Network provided excellent strawberry shortcake, and we were open by donation and had a bake sale. Thanks to everyone who came out to join us, and to those of you who donated baking to the bake sale!
Goodbye, Kelsey!

We are sad to announce that Kelsey Johnson has resigned from her position as museum manager and had her last day on June 28th. Kelsey took on the position in May 2018 and has done so much for the museum in her time here. We wish her the best in whatever she decides to do next!

Please keep an eye out for an announcement regarding the new museum manager soon.
