The first 10 library users to submit their stories using our Share Your Story form will receive a free Somerset Library tote bag (limit 1 per household). We can't wait to hear your stories!

Preserving Somerset History
Are you curious about your Somerset relatives? The Scott History and Genealogy Room at Somerset Library can help you find answers. Visit our website to find a wealth of historical resources or call the library to schedule a meeting with volunteer historian Earl Belisle.

Mr. Belisle is a member of the St. Croix Valley Genealogical Society and his Somerset
family ancestry dates back to 1855 when his Great Grand Father, Augustine Belisle, arrived in Somerset.

Silly Stories Night
Friday, April 30 at 7 p.m.
The Somerset Public Library is hosting a Silly Stories Night! Tune in on Facebook Live as Mr. Daniel reads some campfire stories meant to tickle your funny bone. Free silly stories kits are also available!

Reserve a kit to make a jar luminary that will look beautiful on your summer table and that will keep those pesky mosquitos from your patio plans! This project has an all-natural list of ingredients that is family-friendly, looks great and smells fresh. Kits can be reserved from the library website or by calling 715-247-5228.

Join the library for Story Time every week
Youth Services Librarian Mr. Daniel is offering a Facebook Live event each week. At the regular story time event, 10:15 a.m.Tuesdays, preschoolers and their caregivers can tune into the Somerset Library Facebook page to find Daniel sharing stories and songs to keep little minds engaged.
