Home to the world’s best American Football players and watched by millions of passionate fans across the globe, the NFL offers hard hitting sport and action packed entertainment.

The National Football League comprises of 32 teams that compete in a 17-week long season for the chance to get on the elusive ‘road to the Super Bowl’. At the end of the regular season, the winners of each of the eight regional divisions along with four wildcard selections enter the Playoffs. From there it is a knockout format as the remaining teams battle through with one goal on their minds; to get their hands on the Superbowl Trophy. 

The Super Bowl, which is often remarked as ‘the greatest show on earth’ is the scintillating climax to the whole season. The event combines Hollywood A-listers, music icons, unrivaled pyrotechnics, and the two best American Football teams in the world doing battle for the sport’s greatest prize. It is a spectacle that never disappoints. Super Bowl XLIX (49) will be held on the 1st February 2015 at the University of Phoenix Stadium, Arizona.

US Open Tennis championship

The US Open is one of the greatest sporting events in the world, attracting the world’s best tennis players who all wish to compete in the final Grand Slam of the calendar year. Players descend on New York to compete for the revered title and the record breaking prize money of $35million. As one of the world’s largest annually attended sporting events, the US Open attracts a huge fan base of more than 700,000 people across the two weeks. Matches are played well into the night in an electric New York atmosphere to the delight of the star studded crowds as well as the millions of viewers at home.

The Grand Prix de Cycliste events in Canada are a major step to fulfilling this goal, joining the list of existing officially sanctioned events in Europe Oceania and Asia. The ATP World Tour 250 Series continues with a further six events on the 2014 calendar. The tour features tournaments from around the world, with the sport’s best players competing. This year, some of the top players that will feature include: Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Nicolay Davydenko, ensuring hotly contested action from the outset.

IAAF World Challenge zagreb

The IAAF World Challenge is an annual collection of 14 one-day athletics competitions that span venues around the world. In September 2014 the World Challenge, comprising of the greatest athletes on the planet, will arrive in Zagreb, Croatia for what promises to be another day of superb and exciting track and field.

FISE World series 2014

The International Festival of Extreme Sports (FISE) is the biggest action sports event of its kind in the world. Created almost 20 years ago in its homeland of Montpellier, France, FISE brings together the best international riders on skateboards, roller skates, BMX, mountain bikes and wakeboards to compete over five action packed days.

Melbourne marathon 

The Melbourne Marathon attracts competitors from all over the world and is one of the standout dates in the long distance running calendar. Elite athletes and everyday runners, including the event’s renowned ‘Spartan’ athletes, run alongside one another through the city in a staggering feat of human endurance.
