We’re making plans to spend some quality time exploring the scenic dirt roads around Moab as well as Death Valley in April, and you’re invited to join the adventures!

Since these are both Explorer guided adventures, guests enjoy even more riding without having to deal with all the packing and unpacking every night and morning. We’ll spend multiple nights at the same hotel, so make use of those dresser drawers or pick through your pile of unmentionables until it’s time to bundle it all up and move on. We won’t judge… much.

CALL ME ABOUT THE DEATH VALLEY EXPLORER ADVENTURE
Now that we’ve gotten the scouting trip for Death Valley Explorer out of the way, we’re ready to razzle-dazzle guests with the improved route.

What’s changed? First, we’re starting from Las Vegas, Nevada rather than Long Beach, California, so there are more direct flights and we avoid Los Angeles traffic. Second, we’re posting up in Big Pine, California for two nights so that we can explore the west side of Death Valley National Park and the Saline Valley before heading to Furnace Creek for another two nights.

DAY 1 - Arrive in Las Vegas, Nevada

Check in to your hotel. Meet your fellow riders at the welcome dinner this evening. Stay in Las Vegas, Nevada.

DAY 2 - Las Vegas, Nevada to Lone Pine, California - 250 Miles

Ride out of Las Vegas north towards Lone Pine, California. This will be a longer, paved day, so we can set up base in Lone Pine for our subsequent outrides in this stunning area. Stay in Lone Pine, California.

DAYS 3 & 4 - Lone Pine, California Outride - up to 200 miles

For the next two days, you will have a multitude of dual-sport choices: explore Saline Valley, Warm Springs, Alabama Hills, Reward Mine, Cerro Gordo Mine, and more. Stay in Lone Pine, California.

DAY 5 - Lone Pine, California to Furnace Creek, California - At least 148 miles

Ride from Lone Pine to the heart of Death Valley National Park today. There may be some side exploring, so get ready for beauty, solitude, and fun. Stay in Furnace Creek, California.

DAYS 6 & 7 - Furnace Creek, California Day Rides - Up to 180 Miles

For these two days, you will have a multitude of dual-sport choices. You may ride Artist's Palette Loop, check out Ubehebe Crater, Badwater Basin, Racetrack Playa, and Titus Canyon. There will be more than enough options for the group to explore during each day. Stay in Furnace Creek, California.

DAY 8 - Furnace Creek, California to Las Vegas, Nevada - 140 Miles

On your way into Las Vegas, visit the stunning Red Rock National Conservation Area. Stay in Las Vegas, Nevada.

DAY 9 - Departure Day

Return home, or hunker down at a slot machine that feels lucky.
