City & Hackney System Clinical Lead

The current cost of living crisis is having a significant impact on our patients, residents and workforce. Hackney Council has put together a very helpful Poverty Reduction and Cost of Living Newsletter, which you can find here. There is also a help-at-hand guide for Hackney residents during the cost of living crisis, which can be found here. Some national resources have also been put together with NHS Confederation’s new Cost-of-Living Hub, that puts a spotlight on NHS initiatives which address the effects of rising costs for communities and good employment practice. So far, sections on fuel poverty and food insecurity are live.
We have had lots of applications for the clinical and care professional leadership roles which is great. Interviews are taking place this month. We have extended the application deadline for a small of number of roles including End of Life, Learning Disability & Autism, Vaccinations & Immunisations, Workforce & Training Hub and Long Term Conditions Clinical Pathways. Please visit the recruitment page for more information about these roles. Applications for these roles will be accepted until Wednesday 23 November 2022. Please do contact me directly if you have any questions at stephaniecoughlin@nhs.net.
Winter is right around the corner. I know that GP practices and community teams are very busy on the ground. Please do take care of yourself and your teams as we head into the busiest time of the year.
