Falkland House School is a residential school for boys of all ages who have Additional Support Needs and who find it difficult to cope in a mainstream educational environment. We offer day, 39 and 52 week provision.
Celebrating success
End of term is a time to celebrate the many successes and achievements of our pupils. On Celebrating Success Day, families and friends enjoyed a delicious buffet accompanied by live music provided by the pupils, before attending a ceremony where each boy was recognised for his own individual achievements. The awards not only acknowledged their educational progress, but also their perseverance and consistent effort, hard work and good choices over the last year.

Transition from school to college
As well as applauding a year of achievements, Celebrating Success Day also focuses on next steps. Four of the pupils were presented with Transition Awards in recognition of their efforts in planning their transition from school to college.

End-of-term fun
Juniors Lewis and Sean thoroughly enjoyed an end-of-term trip to Blair Drummond Safari Park. The trip, described as "a great day out" by their teacher, Mrs. Meiklem, was such a success that they both declared  they want to go back again next term.
A traditional fixture in FHS's sporting calendar is an end-of-term football match involving staff and pupils.
This year, Mr. Graham's team claimed their first victory, winning 12-5 in a fun but highly competitive game.

Kieran is a great ambassador for the school. He completed a work placement with the Scottish Government and latterly he has been working with PUSH, a voluntary retail charity, who were so impressed with him that they offered him a job within the organisation. Kieran, however, has other plans, and a long-term ambition to pursue.
