Last month we were very pleased to meet up with John Lilley (top left) and Phil Moisson (bottom left) of Powys Patients' Council (a project managed by PAVO) to discuss some of the issues arising currently on Felindre Ward at Bronllys Hospital (more below in Phil's update). Phil and John talked us through some of the Patients' Council ideas for improving access to activities on the ward.
The next Stand Up for Emotional Health & Wellbeing meeting will take place at Mid Powys Mind in Llandrindod Wells on
Monday 29 February, 3 - 5pm.
This is an opportunity for members of the public who have been in contact with services, and those close to them, to come together to meet professionals and discuss the way that mental health care is provided in Powys. You can find out more about the  project here. Please contact Anne Woods for full details and to register to attend by ringing 01597 822191
or emailing:

Anne and Angharad are also working together to set up a Forum meeting in South Powys in a few weeks' time. All those who have been in contact with mental health services (and those close to them, eg: carers) are welcome. Find out more about the work of the individual reps on the National Partnership Board and hear about opportunities to get involved. Learn more about what is happening with mental health services across Powys. You can read about last year's event here.
