We hope you all enjoyed our first showing and Gaming Night! This week we'll begin watching the first episodes of some new animes this season. Also, our Halloween Cosplay Social and Dance Event is coming up!
Also, apologies for not adding some of you who signed up very recently to our mailing list. You should all be added now and we're sorry about the mistake!
Season Previews & Manga Round Robins
This week for our anime viewing we'll be getting a taste of some of the new animes airing for the fall season. Keep note of which ones you like!
Then we'll be hosting a silly activity where we'll work together to create short comics. (Ridiculous anime references? You bet!)
All drawing skill levels are welcome!
5:00 - 6:15: Season Previews (animes to be decided)
6:15 - 7:00 Dinner Break
7:00 - 10:00: Manga Round Robin & other activities
*Meetings are every Friday at Buchanan A104 from 5pm - 10pm.
There will also be an artist meetup in the adjacent room during the activity session! If you would like to chat, share artwork, and talk about drawing tips, then come join us!
Survey
Our survey from last week about club suggestions has been extended to Wednesday, Oct 1. If you would still like a chance to enter the raffle for passes to the Vancouver Halloween Expo and Parade you still have a few days to do so!

Halloween Cosplay Social and Dance Event
Our Halloween Social and Dance is coming up! This event is being hosted at the SUB Partyroom on October 25th from 6pm - 10pm. Details are still in the works, but there will be music, activities, and yummy treats! Cosplay is highly encouraged, but not mandatory! Tickets will be available for purchase starting this Friday during our showing.
Early Bird Prices (last opportunity is Oct 24 showing):
$5 for members
$7 for non-members
Early bird group special: If you buy tickets as a group of 5 people, then everyone gets $1 off their ticket price.
At the Door:
$6 for members
$8 for non-members
Members must present their membership cards or know their membership numbers.
