The Life of the Yoga Teacher
September 12th, 13th, 19th & 20th

Coco Finaldi, ERYT 200
Julie Peters, ERYT 200
Nicole Marcia, MA, ERYT 500

Yoga teacher trainings provide teachers with the essential foundations for conducting public classes but often leave graduates without tools to discover their own unique voices as teachers. Because yoga teachers often work as independent contractors they lack a community and access to senior teachers to address questions, deepen practice, find their confidence, debrief difficult teacher/student relationships and ethics. In this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to explore issues that they face specific to the world of teaching yoga including personal and professional refinement, managing your relationship to your students, and how classical yoga philosophy can help us learn to live the life of a yoga teacher.
