Thank you

As we come to the close of an unprecedented school year, we want to sincerely thank you for the extraordinary work you are doing to help your students with their next steps in life.

At the University of Saskatchewan (USask), we are committed to welcoming new students and providing them with the support they need to succeed in a remote teaching and learning environment.

If you have any questions, please contact us at admissions@usask.ca or (+1) 306-966-5788.

USask is offering new transition support courses to help students build confidence in their academic skills in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics.

  • BioPrep - For students entering Biology 120 and 121
  • ChemPrep - For students entering Chemistry 112
  • MathPrep - For students entering Mathematics 104
  • PhysicsPrep - For students entering Physics 115

These non-credit courses have been designed in consultation with USask instructors and cover key learning concepts to prepare students for university-level study in these subject areas.

Students may enroll in one or more of these courses, where, over three weeks, they will meet in daily small-group online tutorials hosted by a USask facilitator, and will complete online assignments and modules designed to provide a solid foundation for the start of their university studies.

Session 1: July 20 to Aug 7, 2020
Session 2: Aug 10 to 27, 2020
Fee per course: $75 + registration fee

Virtual Open House

Join us for our virtual Open House in September 2020!

Open House is our annual event for prospective students to explore life as a USask student. This year we are planning a full suite of interactive activities for you to discover USask!

More information about Open House will be communicated to you and your students in September.

Residence

Due to the primarily remote delivery of classes for the Fall 2020 Term, Residence will be available to students whose academic programs require in-person attendance.

Applicants for the upcoming year, whose programs do not require in-person attendance may apply for an exception to live on campus. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis and approval is not guaranteed.

Application deadlines
