Admission deadlines

Application deadlines to begin studies in the 2020 Fall Term (September) are as follows: 

May 1 is the deadline for Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international applicants for:

August 15* is the deadline for Canadian citizens and permanent residents for:

*Applicants are encouraged to apply early since class registration opens in June.
How to apply
Indigenous Spend-a-Day is Friday, April 3

Indigenous Spend-a-Day is a one-day introduction to university for Métis, First Nations and Inuit students in Grades 10, 11 and 12.

At Indigenous Spend-a-Day, students can get to know the USask campus community by participating in interactive cultural and academic experiences and building relationships with other prospective and current university students.

Parents and counsellors are also welcome.

•Deadline for international applicants to apply for admission for 2020 Fall Term (September) for:
          -Arts and Science 

May 18
• University closed for Victoria Day

June 1
• Deadline for Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international applicants to submit transcripts and other supporting documents for:
          -Agriculture and Bioresources
          -Edwards School of Business
          -Engineering 

•Deadline for international applicants to submit transcripts and other supporting documents for:
          -Arts and Science 

August 15
• Deadline for Canadian citizens and permanent residents to apply for admission and submit transcripts and supporting documents for:
          -Arts and Science
