For nearly 45 years, the Eindhoven Chinese School has offered Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese language lessons to students, including second-generation Chinese, Dutch, and other youths and adults. The school is also authorized to organize the Chinese language proficiency tests or HSK tests. It is part of the Heritage Language Education Network.

Inflation drops slightly, but energy impact is over-estimated in current stats
The Dutch annual rate of inflation fell slightly in October, when calculated according to EU methods – from 17.1% to 16.8%, national statistics agency CBS said on Monday.

Extra night train to Schiphol Airport
From December 16, public transport company Arriva will run a night train from Maastricht to Schiphol airport. Eindhoven is one of the stations where the Intercity stops.

NS cuts train timetable, blaming staff shortages, as complaints soar
Train operator NS has blamed a shortage of personnel for its decision to cut the number of services on some of its busiest routes from next week.

“I love seeing the streets covered in golden leaves. The canopies of the trees changing colours. Hearing birds sing here and there, after the silence of late summer. And of course, being surprised when discovering mushrooms in a new place! Apart from some rainy days, it's been quite a warm and sunny October. Wonderful to be outside!”- Nuno
