UC Berkeley Builds Billion-Dollar Real Estate Pipeline

 
The University of California, Berkeley, is preparing for one of the biggest building booms in its 147-year history.

The effort is coming in part because of a drop in state funding, which has forced the school to act more like a private developer and seek additional revenue streams and partnerships.
