Ready, Set, Packed ... Go!

The Prochoice Highway officially sets off tomorrow, headed north. As well as setting up the stall here and there, we have a few events planned including:

Tuesday 17 September, Warkworth: Stall and “Right to Choose? Not Here”: An author talk, and discussion of the issues. 12 noon, Women’s Centre, 10 Morpeth Street (off Bertrum), Warkworth.
• Thursday 19 September, is women's suffrage day, and we hope (weather permitting) to set up the stall in Whangarei

We also have a few informal get-togethers organised that we won't be posting publicly, but please get in touch if you'd like to meet up. After that, Kerikeri, Kaikohe, Rawene, Dargaville, Helensville and back to...

• Saturday 28 September, is the big Prochoice Picnic in Albert Park, Auckland, marking Global Day of Action for Access to Safe and Legal Abortion. This will link you to the Facebook event for more details. Also, the stall will be outside Gus Fisher Gallery, 74 Shortland Street, from 1-2 p.m. on that same Saturday.

The calendars were finally printed this week, and they've been shipped out to people who pre-ordered. The price has dropped to $15 as they came in under budget, partly because of a slight size reduction. (We sent some refunds!) More details are on the Web site.
