Welcome to the March edition of the EYCN newsletter.
EYCN promotes actions aiming to engage and involve more young chemists in activities such as conferences, meetings, and events that have chemistry as central subject.
2) Don't forget to register for the 5th PYChem and 1st EYCheM from the 26 - 29th of April in Guimaraes, Portugal. This joint event will bring together young chemists from all over the Europe, in a high quality scientific program covering most recent research in the different areas of chemistryand at the interface of chemistry and other scientific fields. 3) The RSC will be hosting the 4th Early Career Symposium from the 23rd-24th June 2016 at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Early career scientists from across industry,academia and education are invited to attend and a host of world-class speakers have already been confirmed. The closing dates for abstracts is 14th May and more information can be found at www.rscecs.org.
4) The European Young Chemist Award 2016 is intended to showcase and recognise the excellent research being carried out by young scientists working in the chemical sciences and will be presented at the 6th EuCheMS Chemistry Congress to be held in Seville from 11-15 September 2016.
