|
|
|
Dear Friends of the EYCN,
Welcome to the May/June edition of the EYCN newsletter.
EYCN promotes actions aiming to engage and involve more young chemists in activities such as conferences, meetings, and events that have chemistry as central subject.
1) Thank you to everyone who was involved with the 11th Delegates Assembly in Portugal last month. It was great to see so many young chemists collaborating across Europe. Thanks also to EVONIK and Elsevier for your support.
2) Delegates, please make sure you have received the minutes from the DA. If you have not, please let us know so that you receive all important information from the board.
3) The RSC will be hosting the 4th Early Career Symposium from the 23rd-24th June 2016 at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Early career scientists from across industry, academia and education are invited to attend and a host of world-class speakers have already been confirmed. More information can be found at www.rscecs.org.
4) We look forward to seeing you at the 6th EuCHeMS Chemistry Congress in Sevilla. For more information regarding the EYCN programme, please click here.
Please share this newsletter with your respective younger members groups.
If you have any news or updates that you would like to share with EYCN, please feel free to email me at communications@eycn.eu. We want to stay in touch with all of you and aim to improve communication across Europe.
Best wishes
