CIT Launches BA in International Business with Aviation Studies
The programme, the first of its kind in Europe, is delivered online and builds on pilots’ already substantial training and development, while also combining business knowledge and expertise. It has been developed in conjunction with the aviation industry, including considerable input from major airlines and from the Atlantic Flight Training Academy, based in Cork.

CAPPA Use Photonic Technology to Get the Slice Right - Every Time!
Four Star Pizza Wilton wanted to develop a quality control test to determine the maturity of their mozzarella cheese. Finding that no such test for mozzarella was available for a commercial business, the company approached The Centre for Advanced Photonics & Process Analysis (CAPPA), a research centre of CIT.

CIT Marketing Students Tasked With Creating a Public Relations Campaign for Alpes D'Or
Cork Institute of Technology in collaboration with The Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII) held The Annual Student Marketing Challenge in April 2018.  CIT Marketing Students were tasked with proposing a public relations campaign relating to the Dublin Horse Show for Alpes D’Or, a premium Belgium chocolate brand. The students also had to propose innovative and creative concepts to promote the company’s brand/products.

CIT Department of Tourism & Hospitality Works with Feed Cork Food Bank

CIT Department of Tourism & Hospitality has been working with the charity Feed Cork to tackle the growing problem of food poverty in Cork. Since it was established in 2017, Feed Cork have been working with a number of partners and are now distributing 250 food baskets weekly to families and individuals in need.

Business Administration Students Create Winning Campaign for CIT Alumni Office
 

Using in-house talent, CIT Alumni Office enlisted the skills of CIT BBus in Business Administration students to devise a PR Campaign to to stimulate engagement and build awareness amongst students.
