EfVET, EARLALL and EAEA kicked off the Gender Equality Task Force activities
 
On 24 January, EfVETEARLALL and EAEA held the first Gender Task Force informal online meeting - a joint initiative with the main purpose of advocating for EU policies and strategies that support a gender balanced participation in lifelong learning.  
 
The purpose of the meeting was to launch the Gender Task Force initiative, and to understand participants’ views on what the most relevant topics related to gender equality in lifelong learning are, as well as how they could be addressed by future Gender Task Force activities.

REWIRE Cybersecurity Blueprint: The Future of Cybersecurity Education in Europe

On 31 January, REWIRE’s partners EfVET and EVTA organised an online event “REWIRE Cybersecurity Blueprint: The Future of Cybersecurity Education in Europe”.
 
The event aimed to promote REWIRE’s Cybersecurity Blueprint which focuses on providing a global synthetic vision of all elements relevant to cybersecurity education, shortage of cybersecurity workforce and skill gaps as a major concern for both economic development and national security across Europe.  The event welcomed participants from all over Europe.

CEDEFOP The future of vocational education and training in Europe

CEDEFOP has published a report focusing on the role played by assessment in the delivery of VET. The study provides important insights into the evolution of assessment for VET in Europe and can be used as a basis for developing future research in this area.

The visit is aimed at providing the opportunity for establishing mutual understanding of training provisions, levels of qualifications and smart specialisation strategies. The ultimate goal of the EfVET Study Visit is to pave the way for horizontal cooperation between EU and Indian VET providers.

CII Karnataka 2nd Edition Skills Conference 2023

The Conference themed “Collaborative Skilling to Achieve Global Competitive Edge” is scheduled to take place on 9 March 2023 from 10:00 - 17:00h at Hotel Taj Westend, Bengaluru.
